Anti-drugs Khloe Kardashian filmed with 'marijuana joint' on family holiday in Costa Rica
32-year-old reality TV star has previously spoken out against drug-taking.
Often regarded as the most outspoken Kardashian, Khloe isn't shy when it comes to sharing her views.
However, it may have come as a surprise to some viewers that the anti-drugs reality star was seen with a suspicious looking cigarette on a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The 32-year-old was caught on the show brazenly holding a marijuana joint during a family holiday in Costa Rica before zealously embracing party-lover and Kourtney's ex-partner, Scott Disick.
Wearing her hair in pigtail French plaits with oversized black shades and a revealing black swimsuit with denim shorts, Kardashian held the spliff-like cigarette in her left hand for all to see.
TMZ report that sources close to the production didn't mind that Kardashian was holding a drug in the scene because it was a natural moment. Despite marijuana being illegal in the United States, it is decriminalised for personal use in Costa Rica.
Fans reacted to Kardashian's cheeky new accessory, with one KUWTK viewer writing on Twitter: "are we gona ignore the fact @khloekardashian had a spliff in her hand YAS girl smoke that then enjoy your breakfast" as another put: "Yesss @khloekardashian I see that spliff!!!!! Lol".
A third added: "@khloekardashian Didn't know you smoked weed".
It's not the first time that Kardashian has been linked to marijuana, with the star being pictured puffing a spliff-like cigarette while in a nightclub with past lover The Game.
Her spokesman said at the time: "She doesn't smoke pot or cigarettes. It's a Hookah stick, which is tobacco free. It's called Phantom Smoke."
The reality star has conveyed an anti-drugs message for some years, vehemently denying that drugs were taken at younger sibling Kylie Jenner's graduation in 2015.
After a video emerged of a man appearing to rub a substance in his mouth at the event, Kardashian tweeted: "You guys will make up anything. No! No one was doing coke at a graduation party in broad day light with teenagers and 15 production cameras...
"We aren't as wild as you want to believe. We were taking Jell-O shots though and you have to scrap [sic] the rim of the shot glass w ur finger to loosen up the jello in order 2 take it. Just say no to drugs kids! Drugs so not our style," she added.
