Apple iPhone 6s, 6s Plus: Users report issues with 3D Touch, Touch ID and speakers
Apple iPhone 6s , 6s Plus users are facing multiple issues with the devices, which were released on 9 September. The most reported issues include problems with the Touch ID, 3D Touch functionality and bugs affecting the speaker.
According to 9to5Mac, the most reported problems include issues with Touch ID and 3D Touch. Here is what some users are complaining about on Apple's official iPhone forum:
- Issues in 3D Touch: As per 9to5Mac, many users have complained about software glitches affecting the normal operation of the 3D Touch. Users are also facing problems with launching web URLs via Safari. This can however be temporarily be fixed by resetting the device.
- Touch ID issues: iPhone 6s owners have detected heating issues within the Touch ID scanner and Home Button. These issues have also been reported on Apple's official iPhone forums. Even this can be resolved with a simple reset, 9to5Mac has claimed.
- Speaker issues: Owners of both the handsets have complained about audio distortion including a crackling sound from the speaker. Some users state this could be an issue with the software of the device.
- Power issues: iPhone 6s users have also reported about their phones getting powered-off automatically, despite having ample of battery charge. Although, according to reports, Apple has stated that the issue can be fixed by navigating to Settings > General > Reset all Settings.
