Apple MacBook Air 12in Coming in 2015 with Three iPhone 6 Inspired Colours
Apple will launch a 12in MacBook Air in 2015 with iPhone-inspired colours according to a new report by AppleInsider. A source claims that three colours will be available; gold, space grey and silver, the same as the latest generation of iPhones.
The rumours come from an insider who says that Apple is "aiming for a tentative mid-2015 launch" although the release timeline has been pushed back several times.
Fans of Apple's iOS devices would be rather excited about the company's decision to offer the ultra-sleek notebook in a variety of colours, as it would be a departure from the current aluminium encasing.
There have been persistent rumours of a 12in MacBook Air over the last few months.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a strong track record of predicting Apple product releases, said in April that the product is on track for a 2014 debut. However, reports later indicated a launch delayed until 2015, owing to supply constraints of Intel's latest Broadwell class processors.
