Argentina vs Chile, 2016 Copa America Centenario final: Twitter reacts after Lionel Messi and team suffer defeat on penalties
Barcelona star Lionel Messi's penalty went above the bar.

Defending champions Chile have successfully managed to beat Argentina for the second time in a row as they defeated Lionel Messi's side in the final of the 2016 Copa America Centenario at the MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey on 26 June, Sunday.
Both sides were reduced to 10 men after Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo and Marcelo Diaz were given the marching orders in the first half. The match ended in a goalless draw and even in the extra time, Argentina and Chile were unsuccessful in breaking the attack.
Arturo Vidal's first penalty was saved by Sergio Romero, while Lionel Messi failed to give Argentina the lead after his shot went above the bar. After converting the next two penalties, Chile took the lead and it was time for Lucas Biglia to level the score from his side's fourth shot.
However, Claudio Bravo stopped the ball from entering the net and Francisco Silva stepped up and converted the penalty to help Chile win 4-2 on penalties. Following the match, IBTimes UK has compiled how Twitter users have reacted following Argentina's continued wait to win a major trophy in 23 years.

So if Argentina didn't win any of their last 2 #CopaAmerica finals and didn't win the last World Cup, why are they ranked @FIFAcom #1?
