Arrow season 3: Deathstroke returns and producer teases 'final twist' in upcoming episode

Arrow season 3, episode 14 The Return airs this Wednesday (18 February) and fans can expect to see several characters from the past return in the upcoming episode.

In last week's episode, Thea and Oliver travelled back to Lian Yu in order to start training to prepare for Ra's al Ghul's attack. The new episode will bring back Amanda Waller, Tommy Merlyn and Slade 'Deathstroke' Wilson.

During the episode, Slade will use Oliver and Thea's arrival on Lian Yu as a means to escape from the underground bunker where he has been imprisoned, reports Latin Post.

The official synopsis for The Return reads:

Malcolm puts Oliver and Thea in a dangerous situation that lands them on Lian Yu with Oliver's former enemy, Deathstroke. A flashback reveals when Oliver and Maseo returned to Starling City to retrieve the Omega bio weapon, and despite being under strict orders from Amanda Waller not to reveal himself to anyone, Oliver looks in on his family, Laurel and Tommy.

Meanwhile, the show's executive producer Marc Guggenheim shared some interesting details about next week's (25 February) episode titled Nanda Parbat, teasing a "final twist."

"It's one of those episodes where everything came together very nicely — its got some wonderful character moments, some incredible action, and it's got a final twist that I think people will be talking about for a long time. Certainly a twist that sets the table for the remainder of the season," Guggenheim told TV Line.
