Arrow season 4 finale synopsis teases Oliver teaming up with 'surprising force' to defeat Damien Darhk
Oliver Queen will team up with a "surprising force" in an attempt to take down Damien Darhk for good in season 4 finale of Arrow. Episode 23 titled Schism will air on 25 May at 8pm EST on The CW.
Here is the full synopsis released by The CW Network:
Executive producer Wendy Mericle previewed a deadly season 4 finale. She told TVLine: "It's a pretty grim one, I'm sad to say. We have a huge number of potential fatalities. And you'll definitely get a hint about where the team is headed for Season 5."
The season finale will be about Arrow and his team trying to stop Darhk's endgame, which is Genesis. In the previous episode, Oliver found a way to repel Darhk's magic with light magic and Diggle shot his own brother Andy in a bid to save his wife and daughter.
But Darhk was successful in retrieving the one thing he needs to complete his plan — Rubicon. Lyla later revealed to the Arrow team that Rubicon is a means of preventing any country from using its nuclear weapons and that it could be hacked and altered to give its user control of the nuclear stockpile worldwide. Sadly, Darhk is now that user. Also, Thea was kidnapped by a ghost and taken to a secret place.
Can the Arrow team stop this Genesis? We will have to wait till finale to find out.
