Arsenal have won it! A shocking pass out from the back from Alaba is snatched up by Bellerin who shows tremendous desire to burst down the right and drive a ball across the face of goal. Ozil flings out a leg to push it towards goal only for Neuer to deny him with a tremendous save. Or did he? No! The referee has given it as a goal and replays show it was an excellent decision; Ozil's effort had crossed the line.
Arsenal have the lead! From a free kick out on the right, Cazorla lumps one into the dangerzone that Neuer comes out to claim. Instead, he makes a right mess of it, missing the ball completely as it bounces off Giroud's mush and into the back of the net. The Frenchman didn't know much about that, but once again he has come off the bench with a goal in him.
Lewandowski denied! Coquelin loses possession and Douglas Costa is sprung free down the middle. Bearing down on Mertesacker, Koscielny comes across to help and try stop the Brazilian, but leaves the Pole free in the process. Costa spots him, slipping a ball into his path but Cech is out quickly to make a vital block.
Chelsea aren't having it all their own way in Ukraine. Willian has been handy in a free kick position as of late but his latest effort clatters off the wall and invited Dynamo to counter. Yarmolenko leads the attack and squares the ball in from the left to Gonzalez who smashes low towards the near post, only to be denied by Begovic.

Arsenal have been deflated by the half-time whistle and all the momentum is with Bayern. Petr Cech has made another fine save to deny Lewandowski, who to the hosts' credit has lived on the peripheral of this game. Aaron Ramsey is off with another hamstring injury but the thrust of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is badly needed. Call me a cynic but Bayern look content with the point, such is the manner in which they have played.

Twitter going into meltdown over Douglas Costa's bamboozling of Hector Bellerin is comfortably the highlight of this first half. Bayern have enjoyed over two thirds of the possession but credit to Arsenal are hardly cutting through the Gunners like they might expect to.
"For all Bayern's authority, the best chances have fallen the way of Arsenal. If Theo Walcott should have scored from Sanchez's cross, though Manuel Neuer produced a fantastic save, then Aaron Ramsey should have made dam sure from all of four yards out. They are misses which yet could come back to haunt the hosts both tonight and later in the competition.
WHAT A SAVE FROM NEUER! Sanchez lifts a brilliant cross into the box from the right and Walcott has edged away from his marker to meet it with a firm header. Somehow, the German no. 1 springs across goal and has the strength to drag it back off the line and out. Ramsey gets the the follow up but bends a wayward shot across goal and wide. That was stunning from the Bayern shot stopper.
Two chances for Arsenal in quick succession. Theo Walcott brilliantly works space from himself just inside the left of the box, opening his body up looking to bend one into the far corner but a deflection takes it out for a corner. It's swung in and falls nicely for Sanchez but, off balance, he lashes it wildly over the bar.

Low key build-up, low key atmosphere and a low key game so far at the Emirates. Manuel Neuer and Petr Cech have each been gamefully employed once in the opening minutes from Mesut Ozil and Thiago Alcantara shots but the efforts on goal have been rare glimpses of fluidity in the final third.
"There is little doubting what the highlight has been since kick-off; the admirable actions of the travelling Bayern Munich fans who boycotted the first five minutes over the £64 ticket prices enforced upon them tonight. After they were appluaded into the ground by the home faithful, let's hope their message gets through."

It might not be the clash between the two unbeaten sides in the group many thought it might be when the draw was made, but there is no doubting the interest in this fixture. I have never seen as many media at Arsenal as I have this evening, both from Germany and the rest of Europe. It must be said the atmosphere among the home support is pretty tepid, perhaps nervous at what could be about to come."

"Arsenal may still be able to qualify for the knock-out stage even if they lose to Bayern tonight, but it would see them requiring an extraordinary string of results if they don't at least grab a point at the Emirates tonight. Defeats in their opening two group matches to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos means the Gunners have little margin for error but victory tonight would put them right back in contention.
If nothing else, the winless start to the group phase has diluted expectations ahead of the visit of Bayern, who are unbeaten in all competitions this season and have won all nine of their Bundesliga games so far this term. They are unbeaten in two of their three meetings in North London and as previously mentioned have the most potent forward in Europe in their ranks. There is nothing about Pep Guardiola's makeup that suggests he will be approaching this game with any compassion for the scenario facing Arsene Wenger.

Arsenal are hanging on for dear life in the Champions League and manager Arsene Wenger has selected a team befitting of the critical occasion. The North London club are unchanged from the 3-0 win over Watford, but it is a performance close to the victory over Manchester United when they blew away the team managed by Louis van Gaal - a former Bayern Munich manager - in the opening 22 minutes.
"Bayern are probably the best team in Europe right now and even with Arjen Robben left at home it is hard to see a weakness in their side. Robert Lewandowski, who has scored 24 goals this season for club and country, leads the attack ahead of Thiago Alcantara, Arturo Vidal and Thomas Muller - a trio who have all been linked with moves to English clubs in recent transfer windows. Pep Guardiola's side also includes four players named on the 23-man Ballon d'Or shortlist announced today. The Gunners meanwhile, have just one in Alexis Sanchez.
BREAKING: Eden Hazard returns to the Chelsea starting XI along with Nemanja Matic. Kurt Zouma starts at right back,
Chelsea team to face Dynamo Kiev: Begovic; Zouma, Cahill, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Ramires, Matic; Willian, Fabregas, Hazard; Diego Costa
Subs: Blackman, Baba, Mikel, Oscar, Traore, Kenedy, Falcao
Team news – Arsenal: Arsene Wenger has been saved a potentially tricky selection decision his evening. David Ospina, at fault for one of Olympiakos' goals in that 3-2 defeat at the Emirates, is injured, meaning Petr Cech will start in goal.
Gabriel meanwhile is fit again with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil likely to start despite suggestions Wenger may choose to rest the duo.
Arsenal might by flying high in the Premier League, but things are looking decidedly grim in the Champions League. After defeats to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos, the Gunners' hopes of reaching the knock out stages of the competition now hang by a thread and back-to-back games against Bayern Munich aren't an ideal way of rectifying that.
The German champions have won all nine of their league games this season, winning both their European games without conceding a goal to boot. Arsenal must be getting sick of the sight of the Bavarian giants. In consecutive seasons – 2012-13 and 2013-14 - it was they he ended their European campaign at the last 16 stage. Pep Guardiola's side can go one further and effectively end it before then tonight, especially if Robert Lewandowski is in the mood. A run of 15 goals in six games for club and country came to an end this weekend when he failed to score against Werder Bremen but having established himself as Europe's most potent goal scorer this season, we're inclined to think that might just have been a night off.
Two weeks ago Chelsea took it upon themselves to ensure no English club would comfortably qualify for the knock out stages after their defeat to Porto. The Blues have travelled almost 1500 miles to Kiev this evening to ensure they are in a slightly better position when Dynamo come to west London in a couple of weeks' time. While there were signs of improvement in the 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday, Jose Mourinho's side still look lethargic, unimaginative, and well, just a bit rubbish, really. With a trip to highflying West Ham awaiting on Saturday, tonight would be a good time to address that slump.
There are eight fixtures all in all tonight. We will keep you updated on all of them throughout the night.

Dinamo Moscow v Olympiakos
