London detectives are investigating the theft of a stuffed Arctic wolf worth £32,000 from a Chelsea flat early on Monday 3 August. The wolf's owner and her friend returned to her flat around 4am that morning with three men who they met earlier that evening in Soho.
The men left about an hour later at 5am, according Metropolitan Police, but later that morning the woman noticed the 6ft long, 3ft high "snarling" stuffed wolf with yellow glass eyes was missing.
Each of the men is a suspect. All are white and believed to be in their early twenties. "This is a unique item and I am appealing to anyone who may know the three suspects or have information about the stolen Arctic wolf to contact police," said Detective Sergeant Sean Lyons.
The wolf, bought six years ago from a taxidermy shop, has white fur and black speckles on its back, shoulders and ears.
