Just in time for Prince William and Kate Middleton's one year wedding anniversary, waxworks of the Duke and Duchess have been unveiled by Madame Tussauds in London, New York and Amsterdam.
The London waxwork has been inspired by the Royal Couple's engagement pose and features Kate Middleton wearing an exact copy of the blue Issa London dress she wore on the day of the announcement. Apart from this, Prince William is in a replica of the Gieves and Hawkes navy two-piece single breasted suit recreated by the renowned tailors.
Kate's replica included a recreation of the stunning sapphire and diamond engagement ring once worn by the late Diana, Princess of Wales while William sports a replica of the Omega Seamaster watch he wore on his engagement day.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, made their debut here at Madame Tussauds London, when stunningly life like wax figures of the much loved young Royal couple were revealed," the Madame Tussauds official website mentions. "Catherine and Williams' likenesses were also unveiled at Madame Tussauds attractions in New York and Amsterdam, with each location portraying the Duchess in a different style."
The New York's Duchess, on the other hand, is dressed in a replica of Alexander McQueen floor-sweeping gown from the Bafta Brits to Watch Awards whilst in Amsterdam she is captured in her most recent appearance at the War Horse premiere where she wore a lace Temperly London number.
Madame Tussauds Blackpool, will include the figures a little later in the month showing Catherine in a stunning Jenny Packham dress from her appearance at the ARK Charity Dinner. All outfits have been created in collaboration with the original designers.
