Weeks after the massive Ashley Madison leak, a new high-profile member of the cheating website has come to light. Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie's brother Todd Christie, who works for the GOP candidate's campaign, reportedly had an account that eventually led to a secret affair.

According to In Touch magazine, the married father of five had sex with a woman he met on the website about 12 times. The alleged affair occurred as his brother used his campaign to preach his support for the sanctity of marriage.

The magazine's source said: "Todd knows that he'll probably lose his family — and that it could cost Chris the Republican nomination." The source continued: "Chris should not be guilty by association, but Todd's actions will surely be associated with the Christie family's character. Todd's a total narcissist. He thought he was going to get away with it."

The 51-year-old allegedly wrote in his Ashley Madison profile that he was "looking for someone to bring some more spice into my life. Love to have fun, in and out of bed. Love to laugh and have been blessed with a successful life. Love great red wine ... lots of laughs and long passionate kissing. Willing to try most anything once ..."

His profile continued: "I'm a very passionate man. Love to kiss and love lots of foreplay. Easily hooked by a great smile, deep soulful eyes and a confident woman. I need stimulating conversation ... Love to make people laugh and always strive to please. :-)"

The alleged cheater communicated with a woman he reportedly had sex with several times. He shut down his Ashley Madison account in August, after the hack.

Todd, a member of the New Jersey Finance Leadership Team that is supporting Christie's White House ambitions, is reportedly worth at least $60m. According to the Daily Mail, Todd has worked in all of his brother's campaigns dating back to high school.

In Touch reported that Todd's actions had previously derailed his brother's political career. During the 2012 campaign, Chris was on the short list to be Republican nominee Mitt Romney's running mate. However, Todd faced problems with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which claimed he was profiting from overcharging his customers. He later settled.

Chris Christie has not commented on his brother's alleged account and subsequent affair.
