Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis announce name of newborn son
The Hollywood couple have named their baby boy Dimitri Portwood.
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have announced the name of their new son.
A statement on The Two and Half Men actor's website A Plus read: "Dimitri Portwood Kutcher was born at 1:21 a.m. on November 30, weighing 8 pounds and 15 ounces."
The baby boy's first name is a Russian version of the Greek name Demetrius, in honour of his Russian heritage.
Mila, 33, and Ashton, 38, already have a two-year-old daughter named Wyatt Isabelle together.
According to Mail Online a source said the new mum is doing well after giving birth for a second time. "She is feeling good, although taking care of a toddler while pregnant is different for her than the first time around, where she could rest a lot more,"' the insider said.
Her husband has reportledly been a great support to her as they manage a toddler and a newborn.
"Ashton dotes on her though. He always carries Wyatt and doesn't want Mila doing any lifting at all," the source shared. "He has always been very hands-on, but he has really been taking over lately and trying to give Mila a break.'
In October, the Ranch actor had accidently revealed the sex of their child when he appeared on the Today show. And a day later, Kutcher almost let out the name of his unborn son when he was speaking to host Kelly Ripa without realizing that his microphone was still on during an interview on Live with Kelly.
"No way people heard that [name of his second child]. I thought it was over! I would have been murdered. The wife would have taken me out!," Kutcher 38 said Us Weekly reports.
Ashton and Mila first met on the set of That '70s Show in 1998. The couple started dating in 2012 and were married in 2015 in an intimate ceremony. Kutcher was previously married to Demi Moore.
