Aston Villa vs. Tottenham Hotspur, Premier League 2014/15: Where to Watch Live, Preview, Betting Odds and Possible XI
Tottenham Hotspur will take on Aston Villa in the weekend Premier League clash at Villa Park on Sunday.
Where to Watch Live
Kick-off is at 4pm GMT. Live coverage is on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD. Radio commentary of the match will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live. Catch the highlights of the game on Match of the Day 2 on BBC Two and BBC Two HD at 10:00pm GMT.
Overview
Villa have not been enjoying a great run in the Premier League this season as they have lost five league matches. This includes the latest 2-0 defeat at the hands of Queens Park Rangers away from home.
To make things worse for Villa, they have not scored in the last five matches and have conceded 13 goals in the process. Paul Lambert and his assistant Roy Keane will have an uphill task when his side host Tottenham on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino saw his new club seal a place in the last eight of the Capital One Cup after the north London club's 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this midweek.
In the previous league fixture, Tottenham suffered a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Newcastle United at home, despite taking a lead in the first half. The former Southampton manager would be looking to bounce back in the league with a win over struggling Villa on Sunday.
What Managers Say
Paul Lambert: "Not scoring goals has hurt us, but it will come. Tottenham are not hitting the heights of what they expect, but they are still a really good side. They were up there last year in the top bracket and I'm under no illusions how tough it will be."
Mauricio Pochettino: "We wanted to get into the next round of the Capital One Cup and now we all look forward to Aston Villa. We played well for the first 45 minutes against Newcastle, but we had a lack of concentration at the beginning of the second half and that changed the game. After that, it was difficult."
