It is up for purchase for $199.99 (£129) on BestBuy, which is offering free shipping anywhere in the country. The ZenPad S 8.0, with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, is available in black.

The tablet is also available on pre-order via various online channels in the US.

The ZenPad S is mostly for buyers on a shoestring budget, who are unwilling to more than $300 for the iPad Mini 3.
