Athletic Bilbao vs Valencia, Europa League 2015/16: Where to watch live, preview, betting odds and possible XI
Gary Neville's Valencia face a tough task in the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie against fellow Spanish side Athletic Bilbao at San Mames on 10 March.
Where to watch live
Kick-off is set for 8.05pm GMT. The game will be broadcast live on BT Sport 2.
Overview
Athletic Bilbao extended their winning run in La Liga to three matches by beating Sporting Gijon 2-0 at the weekend. The Basque club hold a 10-point lead over Valencia in the league and beat their opponents 3-0 at the Mestalla in their most recent encounter in February.
Winger Ibai (foot) and forward Inaki Williams (ankle) are both sidelined through injury for the hosts. Aritz Aduriz is racing to recover from a hamstring problem and is a doubt.
Valencia suffered their second defeat in seven matches on 6 March as Atletico Madrid ran out 3-1 winners at the Mestalla. Gary Neville's side have won their last three away matches in all competitions.
The visitors will be without Denis Cheryshev after the winger suffered a thigh injury in the Atletico match.
What managers say
Ernesto Valverde: "I am very happy to continue coaching Athletic. I appreciate the confidence of the club in me to renew my contract. We hope to continue in this line and if we can improve, so much the better."
Gary Neville: "We were playing against one of the best teams in Europe and for 70 minutes we were in the game. I don't like repeat mistakes and it feels that we have made the same mistakes as last week. We were in the game until 70 minutes against Athletic Bilbao and it was the same again tonight. I am as disappointed as I have been after a defeat."
