Avengers Age of Ultron: Makers not happy with final film? Cast asked to reassemble in UK for reshoot
Avengers: Age of Ultron stars are all set to reassemble in UK to film some additional scenes for the upcoming Marvel flick.
According to a Daily Mail report, actors Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Paul Bettany (The Vision), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Tom Hiddleston (bad-guy Loki) have all been asked to make themselves available over a two-week period in January to film additional scenes at Pinewood Studios in London.
Filming for Avengers 2 has officially wrapped up but looks like the cast and crew will be doing some patchwork shooting to make the film "a bit more kick-ass on an extravagant scale," states the report.
Could it be that the makers of Avengers 2 are not completely happy with the canned footage? After the mammoth success of The Avengers, expectations from the sequel are huge! Maybe director Joss Whedon wants to make sure the film is designed perfectly.
Meanwhile, the article also suggests that filming for the next set of movies - Avengers: Infinity War, Part 1 and Part 2 will also commence in UK "later next year [2015]", most likely at Pinewood.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is set for release in the UK on 24th April, 2015 and North America on 1st May, 2015.
