Avengers Age of Ultron Trailer: Five Burning Questions About the Trailer
The Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer is undoubtedly awesome, but it has also left us wondering about a lot of things.
Marvel Studios has mastered the art of the tease, as can be seen in the thrilling trailer, which, while not giving away much, left fans awestruck and asking for more.
Here are five questions that come to mind after watching the trailer:
Why is Thor Gagging Tony Stark?
Tony Stark probably isn't the greatest guy to be around, but that doesn't explain Thor lifting him up by the throat in the trailer. What could have possibly annoyed the God of Thunder so much that he wanted to choke his teammate? Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Tony is directly responsible for the creation of Ultron.
Who Broke Captain America's Shield in Half?
We all learned in Captain America: The First Avenger, that Steve Rogers' vibranium-constructed shield is basically indestructible.
In fact, in the first movie, we saw Thor using his Mjolnir to bring the shield down and it didn't even manage to make a dent. So the question is what made the unbreakable shield split like that? Is Ultron that strong?
Why the Pinocchio Music?
If you listen closely to the trailer, you will notice that the background score is actually a slowed-down, somewhat robotic version of the Pinocchio tune 'I've Got No Strings.' Given the fact that Ultron sings the lyrics, the fans are wondering whether it plays a part in the robot's break from sanity.
Why is Bruce Banner Freaked Out?
Mark Ruffalo's character The Hulk, is the strongest and undoubtedly the most ferocious fighter of all the Avengers. But what could possibly be so terrifying/horrifying that it would leave him shell-shocked and sitting on the floor of the Quinjet? Is it because of Iron Man and his fight?
Who is Andy Serkis Playing?
Previously, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes star Andy Serkis revealed that he not only helped work on the motion capture for Avengers 2, but also confirmed that he plays a very small role in the film.
The first trailer for the blockbuster shows him briefly, with a rather ominous expression, sporting a mop top and a beard, but we aren't really any closer to figuring out his actual identity. Who could he be playing?
Speculation, based on his looks alone, suggests that Serkis might be playing Marvel villain Ulysses Klaw.
Judging by its debut trailer Joss Whedon's 2015 blockbuster looks like it is going to completely shake up the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and send plenty of chills down your spine.
