Avengers Infinity War plot: Kevin Feige explains how all Marvel characters will fit in
'We've already shot a lot of those interactions, and it's very exciting,' teases Feige.
Avengers Infinity Wars will feature Marvel Cinematic Universe' mightiest superheroes teaming up to fight Thanos. Marvel President Kevin Feige has shared some plot details about the upcoming superhero event.
Feige teased that all the superheroes will have a meaningful role in the Avengers sequel. He told MamaSmiths.com: "As with all of the connectivity between our characters on various films, you have to be careful about it. We never want it to just seem like characters are popping their heads out of windows and saying 'Hello' and then going back in."
He said, "Believe me, it'd be easier to do it that way, but it wouldn't be as satisfying. So a big role, a small role, regardless of the actual screen time that any single character has – and I think you've seen this in the Avengers films, and in Civil War last year – it'll be very meaningful and very important to the story that we're telling."
The 43-year-old filmmaker revealed that Infinity Wars has already shot some of those "exciting" interactions between the characters. "That film is shooting right now and we've already shot a lot of those interactions, and it's very exciting."
Previously, Guardians Of The Galaxy star Chris Pratt spoke about working alongside Robert Downey Jr who plays Iron Man / Tony Stark in Avengers 3 movie. The 37-year-old, who plays Star-Lord said, "Getting to work with Robert, it just felt really really natural. He's a remarkable actor. I'd heard stories abut his work ethic, and his specific style of acting in regard to being in the moment, changing things up, keeping you on your toes. Essentially, it's like playing with a great jazz musician or something like that."
Avengers: Infinity Wars is scheduled to release on 27 April 2018 in the UK and 4 May 2018 in the US.
