The Bachelorette season 11: Britt Nilsson calls Kaitlyn Bristowe fake, in 'serious attack mode' after exit
The Bachelorette season 11 broke tradition by starting off with two Bachelorettes, Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe. But the twist: one of the ladies would be out, as the 24 suitors would vote for their favourite on their first night in the house.
The second instalment of the two-part special, which aired on 19 May, kicked off with Britt Nilsson being sent home in tears.
Britt admits that she 'was in a state of shock' at the time. She told People: "I was a little numb and then of course the other feelings started coming. I wasn't chosen, that's rejection. That's kind of embarrassing."
A new report says that Britt Nilsson is out for blood after being defeated by Kaitlyn Bristowe.
"From the very beginning, Britt was out for blood — full on, serious attack mode," a source told In Touch.
"Instead of teaching the guys about herself, Britt spent her time in the house throwing Kaitlyn under the bus. She told all of the guys that Kaitlyn wasn't looking for love and that she's fake."
Although she is eliminated, Britt has found love with former contestant Brady Toops, who eliminated himself when the 28-year-old was not crowned this season's Bachelorette.
"While Kaitlyn was running around the world with a group of guys and crying about how hard it was, Britt was forming an actual relationship with Brady," the source said. "She really thinks it's going to last, and happiness is by far the best revenge."
Kaitlyn Bristowe also opens up about the recent controversy surrounding the fact that she had pre-fantasy suite sex with one of her suitors on The Bachelorette.
"I don't think that's a crazy thing to sleep with somebody when you're trying to be in a relationship with them," the season 11 star told Entertainment Tonight "I'm a 30-year-old woman and I make my own decisions, and intimacy, to me, is part of a relationship. I don't know why everyone is so shocked by it."
Bristowe, who beat Britt Nilsson to become The Bachelorette, went on to explain that her tears in the promo were because she "felt upset that it could have jeopardized other relationships" on the show. "I tried to compartmentalize each relationship and be present with each guy, and some went faster than others and some went slower than others."
