Pep Guardiola's return to Barcelona ended in disappointment as he saw Manchester City suffer a 4-0 defeat at the hands of the La Liga champions. Lionel Messi's hat-trick, followed by a late goal from Neymar were sufficient for the Catalan club to seal a comfortable victory over a 10-man City.

Claudio Bravo left Camp Nou and made a switch to the Etihad in the last summer transfer window. The Chilean's returned to his former club for the first time since leaving the Spanish outfit and it ended in disappointment as he was sent off in the 53rd minute.

The Argentine international netted yet another hat-trick for Barcelona. He opened his side's scoring in the 17th minute, before adding two more in 61st and 69th minute. Messi's compatriot Sergio Aguero started the match from the bench and came on to the pitch in the final quarter of the match.

That's Manchester City's fourth game without a win now. Think the manager across Manchester got lambasted for that.
