Batman v Superman: Ben Affleck calls his scenes with Henry Cavill 'electric' and describes Lex Luthor's role
Superhero fans worldwide can't wait to see Batman and Superman clash on the big screen in Dawn of Justice. It is going to be epic, no doubt, but according to Ben Affleck, the best action scenes in the film don't feature the two iconic DC heroes.
Gal Gadot, who plays the character of Wonder Woman, actually has "the most impressive action sequences in the film", said Affleck during a recent interview with Premiere magazine, before adding that the actress had done a great job with her role in the movie. (via ComicBook)
Affleck also revealed that he did not have a lot of scene with Superman star Henry Cavill — surprising right? But that's understandable what with special effects and CGI doing most of the work. He, however, did add that whatever scenes they had together were "electric".
"It is a continuation of Man of Steel, so I came to the world of Zack Snyder and Henry Cavill," said the Batman star. "In fact, we didn't share many scenes. With Henry, it was a little the night shift and the day shift: We crossed with our suits, as if we worked in the same company but we didn't hang around so often together. On the other hand, when we were in the same sequences, there was something electric."
Affleck also gave the best description of the main villain Lex Luthor's character, calling him a "reminiscent of Kurt Cobain mixed with [Google co-founder] Larry Page". Now isn't that something.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theatres on 25 March 2016.
