Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice: Leaked set photo reveals Robin's storyline, confirms Joker's Suicide Squad link?

New images from the sets of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice leaked online, seem to confirm a strong rumour about the plot of the film and its connection to the subsequent Suicide Squad movie.

Warning: Potential spoilers ahead

The leaked image is of a funeral scene, more than likely the site of where Bruce Wayne's parents – Thomas and Martha Wayne – are buried. One of the images reveals a tombstone with the name Richard John Grayson on it. Fans would know that Richard Grayson or Dick Grayson is the alter ego of Batman's first sidekick – Robin.

This should come as a shock to fans who were hoping to see Dick Grayson show up at some point in the DC Cinematic Universe.

However, this leak also confirms an early plot theory which links Dawn of Justice to Suicide Squad and might lead to a mention of The Joker in Batman v Superman.

An earlier post by Latino Review's El Mayimbe, provides details on what got The Joker locked away in the Suicide Squad: "He's killed one of Batman's sidekicks, there is a lot of references to his past crimes. He kills a lot of people," the post stated.

Fans already know that Batman v Superman will feature a more "seasoned" Batman which means that's he's already been through Robin's death at the hands of The Joker and his subsequent battle to capture the clown prince. Whether that storyline will be explored, even briefly, in Dawn of Justice, remains to be seen.
