Batman v Superman (Man of Steel 2): Flying Batmobile, Latest Filming Updates and New On-Set Images
Batman might not have superhuman powers as Wonder Woman and Superman, but that is not going to stop him from flying alongside the two superheroes in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
According to a report in Batman-news, the masked crusader will have a flying Batmobile in the upcoming film!
Apparently, the Batmobile's doors open out like wings. This unique feature could mean that the vehicle is capable of flight, similar to the Batwing.
Though it is just conjecture at this point, it does seem necessary if Batman is to keep up with Superman and Wonder Woman in the film.
As per the latest report from Batman-News.com, a big press conference scene complete with a Metropolis helicopter and a 'Gothan 13 Live' van was filmed on Friday with a giant Superman statue on the set of Batman v Superman.
The report stated, citing sources, that the sequence shot was - a big ceremony to unveil the statue built to celebrate Superman saving the Earth in Man of Steel.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice takes place about two years after the events of Man of Steel.
Elementary school kids present on the set wore 'Superman Survivors' shirts and helped pull a sheet off the statue for the big reveal.
"The Superman statue that we saw last week was incomplete — he was missing a head and other various body parts. That didn't change when they filmed the scene for the movie. I'm told that the statue will be completed in post-production with CGI," says Chris Begley of batman-news.com.
