Batman v Superman Star Ben Affleck Casts Guardians of the Galaxy's Zoe Saldana in Next Directorial Film

Batman v Superman star Ben Affleck is all set to roll his next directorial venture titled Live by Night.

Looks like the Argo actor is making sure the upcoming Batman v Superman film doesn't take up all of his time. Affleck is ready with the script for Live by Night and has signed on some big names to the film and this includes Guardians of the Galaxy actress Zoe Saldana. Sienna Miller and Elle Fanning have also been cast in key roles.

The film will be adapted from the novel by Dennis Lehane, which tells the story of Joe Coughlin, the son of a cop in '20s Boston, who turns his back on his family and signs up to a life of crime, reports TotalFilm.

Affleck will be playing the role of Coughlin, who falls for his gangster boss's girlfriend, played by Miller.

Saldana will play Graciella Suarez, who Coughlin encounters when his operation moves to Florida, and Fanning will play an aspiring actress, who makes some poor choices that put her on Coughlin's radar.

Live by Night is set to open in the UK on 14 October, 2016.
