Battlefield Hardline can soon be played for free on Xbox One consoles via EA Access
Xbox One owners can officially experience the first-person-shooter game Battlefield Hardline for free from 14 October. The game can be checked out by those who have subscribed to the EA Access membership.
Gamers opting to become EA Access members can do so by availing of a subscription for $30 (£20) a year or $5 (£3) a month. Currently, EA Access lets Xbox One users check out as many as 13 games that include Titanfall and Dragon Age: Inquisition.
List of popular games that members can currently play include are:
- Battlefield 4
- Fifa15
- Dragon Age: Inquisition
- Fifa 14
- EA Sports UFC
- NHL 15
- Need for Speed: Rivals
- NBA Live 15
- Madden NFL 15
- Madden NFL 25
- Titanfall
- Plans vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare.
EA Access members also get to play trial editions of popular upcoming games such as Star Wars: Battlefront and Need or Speed 2015. Subscribers on Xbox One can also avail of a discount of 10% while purchasing full games.
Earlier in the year, players (on Xbox One and PS4) of the older Battlefield 4 had lots to cheer about as EA seeded the new free Night Operations DLC that introduces new stealthier game modes and night map called Zavod: Graveyard Shift. Newer gaming modes have also been introduced, apart from the night maps. These game modes are: Gun Master, Domination, Obliteration, Team Death Match and Rush.
