Scottish red deer graze in Glen Etive, located deep in the Highlands of Scotland, following the end of the rutting season, where the dominant stags compete with one another for mating rights. During the rut, the stags can be heard roaring across the rural areas, in an attempt to attract the hinds. Now preparing for the winter months, the red deer roam freely around Scotland's spectacular glens.
