Is Bella Hadid being "extra cautious" about dating The Weeknd again? The duo were in a romantic relationship for two years before The Starboy singer called it quits in November 2016.

According to HollywoodLife, the Canadian singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, has been trying to get back into the 21-year-old's life, but Hadid feels that them becoming close like before will need them to take a "long road" as she wants to make sure she isn't hurt by him again.

The model reportedly feels that it wouldn't be right to jump into a relationship with her former flame, with whom she sparked dating rumours with their recent outings.

"Bella is being extra cautious with her heart as she slowly allows Abel back into her life," a source told the celebrity gossip website.

"She has been testing the waters with him to see if their chemistry is still strong, and it seems to her that the attraction still exists. However, a lot has to happen before Bella considers rekindling what was once so wonderful between them. Bella feels it will take time before she can trust Abel again."

While the 27-year-old singer, who recently split with Selena Gomez after 10 months of dating, is hoping to become an important part of Hadid's life, friends have warned Hadid to be careful of her former boyfriend as he might just break her heart again. However, it has been said that Hadid has become wiser and more protective of herself since splitting with her ex.

"Bella certainly has strong feelings for him but they have a lot that needs to be talked about before she jumps into bed with him again," the source said. "Bella sees a long road ahead before things return to how they were before their split."

Meanwhile, Gomez has been spotted on numerous outings with her former boyfriend Justin Bieber. The two were most recently spotted on a low-key date in Los Angeles on Monday, 13 November. They were pictured strolling in a park by a fan who shared the snap on social media.

While the two have reignited dating rumours with their outings, it seems like the pair is looking to take their relationship to the next level, with a report claiming that the two are house-hunting.

"It was Selena's idea, and Justin is all for it," a source told the magazine. "He's already looking at homes in the Calabasas, CA area. They just can't wait to start their life together."

Gomez and Bieber dated between 2010 and 2014.
