Her sister Gigi may not be walking in the Victoria's Secret 2017 show, but that hasn't stopped Bella Hadid from getting excited about the event which takes place in a few days.

The 21-year-old model shared a throwback snap of last year's show, in which she made her debut on the VS runway.

Looking every inch the pro, Hadid's backstage snap showed her perched on the black stage as she wore a pink satin dressing gown with a pink bra, and her hair styled in loose waves with a natural make-up look.

She captioned the shot: "5.DAYS. @victoriassecret @ed_razek@monica.mitro @johndavidpfeiffer@10magazine #VSFS I am so excited! Can't wait to see you Shanghai !!!!".

Fans were quick to react to her latest post, with one person commenting: "Most beautiful woman in the world". Another wrote: "Can't wait for the show".

Others mentioned her sister Gigi and wondered why she was not featuring in the star-studded event, with one follower writing: "I wonder why gigi couldnt make it to Shanghai this year. Is it because of the video u posted? If so, u've ruined it for her".

Another said: "Because of you gigi dont came to shanghai".

Fans are referring to footage of Gigi which surfaced in September of her appearing to mock a Buddha she was holding.

Hundreds of Chinese people were furious at the Tommy Hilfiger model and told her she "wasn't welcome" in the city when Victoria's Secret was to host their 2017 show. The star has since pulled out of her appearance.

Announcing the news on Twitter, she said: "I'm so bummed I won't be able to make it to China this year. Love my VS family, and will be with all my girls in spirit!!

"Can't wait to tune in with everyone to see the beautiful show I know it will be, and already can't wait for next year! :) x".

Meanwhile, Bella is said to have rekindled her romance with ex-boyfriend The Weeknd, who has recently split up with Selena Gomez.

Sources close to the Canadian rapper told E! that he "loves her still" and feels "they will always have a real connection". He was also spotted leaving her New York apartment earlier this week.

The news comes as Gomez has reportedly sparked a romance with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber.

The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, dated Bella in early 2015 but the pair took a break in December of that same year. They soon got back together and made their debut as a couple in February 2016 at the Grammy Awards.

They eventually split in November and despite looking amicable at the Victoria's Secret show, where Tesfaye performed, the 27-year-old singer later got together with Gomez until their break-up last month.
