Bella Thorne slammed by fans for dressing like a 'stripper' in revealing leotard and hotpants

Bella Thorne has taken a new direction with her style in the past few months, shunning her gorgeous auburn locks for brightly dyed colours, with her latest choice being fuchsia pink.

The 19-year-old actress – who was romantically linked to playboy and Kourtney Kardashian's ex-partner Scott Disick this summer – has received criticism for dressing provocatively in her latest Instagram snap.

The pink-haired star posted a shot of her wearing a black leotard which barely covered her breasts. It was held together with silver chains and she paired the dominatrix-style top with denim hotpants.

She appeared to be putting on a camouflage jacket in the photo and captioned it: "I always need a sweatshirt even tho it's hot af outside".

The snap was met with disapproval from some of her 15m followers, with one angry follower writing: "Why don't you do a nude spread already?"

Another added: "Who thinks that she looks like the second Miley Cyrus but without an ability to sing? But seriously, there is nothing good in that. So shameful".

A third put: "She sets a terrible example for all her lovely little lady following and I won't stand for it".

As someone else wrote: "Dressed like a stripper.... Of course you need a jacket to cover".

Others defended the star in the debate, with one stating: "Bella is trying to empower young women by blurring the line of expectations for the traditional successful women. She can do whatever she wants and you shouldn't be there to judge."

The Florida-born star is breaking ties with her Disney girl image with her edgy looks these days, and came out as bisexual on Twitter in 2016. She currently stars as young college student Paige in the Freeform series Famous in Love – which is based on the novel of the same name by Rebecca Serle.
