Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner dismiss divorce rumours as couple spotted on intimate dinner date

Actor Ben Affleck and his wife Jennifer Garner seem to have quashed divorce rumours as they were spotted enjoying an intimate dinner date in Los Angeles on 22 September. The pair's three children – Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7 and Samuel, 4 – were not with them when the two were seen at Sam's by the Beach.

"Ben [Affleck] and Jen [Garner] arrived around 8 and left just before 10. Jen came out and walked to the car. Ben was behind her [and] he looked like he might have had a few drinks. ... Jen seemed content, she didn't look upset and didn't say anything," an eyewitness told Us Weekly.

The Miracles From Heaven star was dressed in a white sweater, which she paired with a black skirt and sandals, while the 44-year-old actor sported a blue shirt, tan pants and white sneakers.

Despite reports of the two parting ways in June 2015 they seem to have remained amicable. Moreover, they have not filed for divorce and continue to live together. The pair have been married for 10 years.

In August, Garner spoke about the relationship she shares with Affleck on the NBC show Today and provided some insight about co-parenting their children.

"We are definitely a modern family. We're doing really well," Garner had said.

"Ben was working in London on Justice League and I felt like, 'Well, the kids should have that experience'. He and I are great friends and we just all went en masse. The kids and I had an amazing time, and he worked hard and got to join us for some. I want them to see everything's OK."

"Parenting is about...you can't buy parenting, no matter what," the actress said. "You have to actually get down on the floor and spend some time together."
