Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Adele Nominated for BRIT Awards 2012 [SLIDESHOW]
New mother Beyonce has won the nomination for 2012 BRIT Awards in the International Female Solo category.
While Ed Sheeran has won nominations in four categories, including British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act, Adele and Jessy J have won nominations for three categories each.
In the British Single category, Ed Sheeran would be competing with Adele and Jessy J along with three other nominees.
Other nominees for International Female Solo category are Bjork, Feist, Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
Aloe Blacc, Bon Iver, Bruno Mars, David Guetta and Ryan Adams have been nominated in the International Male Solo category.
Blur has won an award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.
Adele's "21", Coldplay's "Mylo Zyloto", Sheeran's "+", Florence & Machine's "Ceremonials" and PJ Harvey's "Let England Shake" have been nominated for Mastercard British Album of the Year.
The nominations were announced on January 12 night at the BRIT Awards launch party, held at Savoy Hotel in London. Jessy J and Sheeran were among those attended.
The awards ceremony will be held at the O2 in London on February 21.
