The 68th annual Emmys 2016 awarded the best in US prime time television programs but the BeyHive are not happy. Beyoncé and Kahlil Joseph were nominated for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special for the song Lemonade and her fans were confident about their idol's win but ultimately the Emmys went to Thomas Kail and Alex Rudzinski for Grease: Live.

Furious fans have expressed their anger and frustration on Twitter and claim that the drunk in love hitmaker was 'robbed' of the prestigious award to Grease: Live. "Beyonce lost to Grease Live at the Emmy's so Trump might as well be President because nothing is right in the world anymore," one fan wrote on the micro-blogging website.

"Thank you Emmys for once again proving you're useless," wrote another while venting her anger on the award organisers for ignoring the HBO special. "I truly do not understand how our queen and lord and saviour and goddess and supreme ruler did not win," a fan wrote while expressing his utter disbelief after the Halo singer failed to win a single trophy.

While rumours were abuzz that the 35-year-old pop diva is in for a surprise performance, she remain missing for the coveted awards ceremony even though Lemonade was nominated for three categories including Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special and Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Special.

Millions of her fans were left disappointed after she missed her grand red carpet arrival. Beyoncé had previously stunned her fan during her last red carpet appearance at the MTV VMA awards.
