Bigg Boss 9 finale week: Surprise eviction leaves housemates in shock

The Bigg Boss 9 finale week is bringing in a lot of surprises for the final five housemates as they are being given emotional tasks and meeting evicted contestants with whom they formed a strong bond. But the most shocking part of the week is a surprise elimination which will air on Wednesday, 20 January on Colors.

The controversial Indian reality show is just a few days away from the finale, but before that Bigg Boss did a midnight surprise eviction by waking up the top five finalists, Prince Narula, Rishabh Sinha, Mandana Karimi, Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao.

Based on the votes till Tuesday night, BB declared Sequeira as the evicted housemate who managed to get the least number of votes, according to an India Today report. Bigg Boss also declared that Prince, as the top contestant, received the maximum number of votes, followed by Karimi, Sinha and Rao.

The former model and actor was praised for his gentle nature and was considered a strong contender. During the show, he was forced to leave the house after his younger brother's sudden death. However, he returned to the game, but later his attitude was hugely criticised for surrendering his choices under Rochelle's influence.

The show, which premiered three months back in India, has attracted severe criticism for selecting the contestants who are seen to lack creativity. This week, Nora Fatehi and Yuvika Chaudhary entered the house in order to create double trouble for Prince.

The ex-Roadies winner has previously been accused by show host Salman Khan of playing with emotions in order to win. It remains to be seen who will win the viewers' hearts and grab the finale title.
