Black Friday 2016: UK store opening times for Curry's, Next and more
IBTimes UK compiles a list of when notable shops open on Friday 25 November.
While many retailers have been offering up online discount deals for the past few weeks now, Black Friday officially hits stores on 25 November. With big names such as GAME, Tesco, House Of Fraser, Marks & Spencer and Next all taking part, eager shoppers better start preparing as soon as possible.
To help you out, IBTimes UK has compiled a list of some of the most notable stores' opening times on the day – with many opening their doors earlier than usual for the event – in order for you to get down as early as possible and potentially beat the queues...
OPENING TIMES:
Argos – from 8am, while this is the usual opening time for some larger stores, many are opening one earlier for the event
Apple – 10am, usual time for the store
Bluewater Shopping Centre, Greenhithe, Kent. 8am. Centre opening one hour earlier than usual however some store opening hours may vary
Boots – from 8am across most stores, no change
Carphone Warehouse – 8am, opening one hour earlier than usual
Curry's/PC World – 6am, opening three hours earlier than usual. Expect to be very busy
Debenhams – from 7am in London stores. From 8am in other larger stores
GAME – from 8pm on Thursday 24 November in many store locations. It's advisable to check on your local store's Twitter beforehand whether it is participating in the same way
Harrods, Knightsbridge, south west London – 10am, usual time for the store
House Of Fraser – 8am, most stores are opening one hour earlier than usual
intu, Bromley – 8am, opening one hour earlier
intu, Lakeside, Grays, Essex – 9am, no change from the shopping centre's usual opening hours
John Lewis – no change from usual shopping hours. Deals and discounts will go live on the site at midnight on Thursday 24 November
Marks & Spencer – from 8am in Covent Garden and Cardinal Place, Victoria, London. Same goes for other larger stores across the UK. Elsewhere, the store will open at 9am as usual
Next – from 7am in some London stores in locations such as The Strand, Fenchurch Street and Victoria Plaza
Sainsbury's – from 6am. Supermarkets are known to be some of the busiest retailers on Black Friday so be sure to arrive as early as possible for the best deals
Superdrug – from 7am to 7:30am across most London stores
Tesco – from 5am across 700 stores in the UK
Westfield, Stratford, east London – 8am, opening two hours earlier than usual for the event
