BlackBerry Oslo rumoured to sport square design, OS 10.3.2 and 13MP camera [Leaked photo]
New information about a high-end BlackBerry handset dubbed "Oslo" has surfaced along with what is claimed to be its official image.
As seen in the above leaked photo published by BlackBerryCentral, BlackBerry Oslo carries a square design like the 2014 flagship Passport, which packs a large square touch screen and a QWERTY touch enabled keyboard.
In terms of hardware features, the Oslo seems to be an upgrade over the BlackBerry Passport, but some of the specs are to be improved further, it is reported.
The BlackBerry Oslo, rumoured to have been secretly unveiled at the Mobile World Convention in Barcelona in March, will be launched on 30 June.
As the specs sheet suggests, the Oslo will sport an LCD screen with resolution at 1440 x 1440 pixels and BlackBerry OS 10.3.2, which will add various security features and anti-theft protection, with the ability to remotely lock, wipe and recover the device by logging into BlackBerry Protect. Other key elements of Oslo include a 13 megapixel rear camera and a two megapixel front-facing camera and a 3450mAh battery. Considering this is an early stage, these details need to be taken with a pinch of salt.
