The promo of the upcoming episode hints at some explosive revelations and shocking moments as Liz gets kidnapped by a new villain in the superhit NBC show.

The midseason premiere episode 'Luther Braxton' is titled after the next bad guy in Raymond 'Red' Reddington's latest addition in his blacklist.

The episode will explore the secrets surrounding Red (James Spader) and his assistant Liz's relation as the latter keeps digging mysteries of her past.

"That is going to come up sooner than you think. That is a question that we're going to continue to explore with the nature of their relationship, how they're connected and what happened so many years ago," executive producer Jon Bokenkamp told Entertainment Weekly.

According to Fashion and Style, Luther Braxton (Ron Perlman) will be another blacklister from Red's list who is currently held in solitary confinement at The Factory.

Red will try to alert the authorities about Luther's escape plan, but he is likely to escape and steal some vital information from National Security.

However, things turn worse as he would kidnap Liz.

Will Raymond be able to rescue his assistant and will Liz find out of her true relationship with Red?

All the questions will be answered when the Blacklist season 2 returns this Sunday, 1 February on NBC right after Super Bowl 2015.
