Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds: Did Hollywood couple name baby girl James?
He recently denied naming his baby girl Violet and now it appears Ryan Reynolds and wife Blake Lively opted for a more unusual moniker.
According to E! News, the Hollywood couple have called their two-month old daughter James.
It was previously reported that the Change-Up star and his wife had considered Wallpaper and and even Excalibur Anaconda before settling with the flower-inspired Violet.
But the 38-year-old actor rubbished the rumours, telling USA Today: "No, that's not the name. I don't want to get into that but I don't know where that came from.
If James is correct, then the proud parents would not be the first, and most certainly not the last, celebrities to give their child an original moniker.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter is called North West, the son of My Name Is Earl star Jason Lee goes by the name Pilot Inspektor and Forest Whitaker's daughters are called True, Sonnet, Ocean and Autumn.
Lively announced her pregnancy in October 2014 via her lifestyle website Preserve.
Sharing an image of herself revealing her blossoming bump, the Savages and Gossip Girl actress posted a heartfelt message about how important family is to her and celebrated expectant mothers.
"Preserve at its core is about family. Family is the single word our founder Blake built this home on," she wrote.
"With family on our mind, we looked to the origin of it all — to the women in our lives who are right there, at that special moment; at the creation of family.
"Today we celebrate them. With food to fill their tummies (as if that needs more filling), presents to soothe their tired (and swollen) soles, toys to warm their baby's souls, projects to provoke them, and decorations to inspire creativity and merriment in all.
Lively and Reynolds got married in a private ceremony in 2012 after meeting on the set of their 2011 movie Green Lantern.
