A heartwarming video has been posted on YouTube which shows the moment a legally blind woman sees her newborn baby for the first time, using eSight glasses.

Kathy Beitz was loaned a pair of glasses by the eSight corporation so that she could see her son on the day he was born.

The touching moment was filmed, with the video subsequently posted by Kathy's sister, Yvonne Felix, who is also legally blind, on YouTube.

In the description of the video Felix says, "Kathy and I have been legally blind since we were children. eSight glasses, an amazing new technology that I also use, helped her see the birth of her son. What an incredible moment!"

The YouTube video has gone viral online and currently has over one and half million views.
