Blindspot episode 4 synopsis out: What is Daylight and will Jane and Weller fall in love?
Blindspot is getting lots of attention from fans for its fascinating plot and storytelling. In the last two episodes, Jane Doe finally got her identity back with the help of FBI officer Kurt Weller.
Weller successfully identified her as his childhood friend Taylor Shaw who went missing 25 years ago. But it appears that the information is just not enough to solve the puzzle of the complex tattoos all over her body.
Jane is still struggling to regain her memories. She almost cracked it after the bearded man from her nightmare made a surprise visit. But before he could warn her about not trusting "them" he was shot dead by an unidentified sniper. It is not clear whether he was referring to the FBI.
Soon the tattooed girl get more information about her mysterious past after Patterson and David decode one more riddle printed on her body. In the previous episode, robber Casey Robek whispers the word "Orion" in Jane's ear before dying. It was also revealed that "Daylight" is also an important plot with deep links to her erased past.
Series creator Martin Gero reveals that Weller and his childhood friend should worry as "Daylight" is a "bigger problem" than Orion. He also teases that the NBC thriller will dig deep into Taylor Shaw's past.
"Nothing is as straight ahead as it seems. Even if she is Taylor Shaw, where has she been for the past 25 years? What happened to her and why? It's only the beginning of the mystery and not the end," he told Variety.
The series is set to take an interesting turn as both Weller and his childhood neighbour Taylor grow closer to each other during their investigation of possible chemical terror attacks. After decoding the tattoos on her body, the disease control team starts acting swiftly. In episode 4, the couple will try to expose a dangerous attack that may turn fatal for the world.
The synopsis of Bone May Rot, the title of the next episode, reads: The team races to contain a volatile situation at the center for disease control. Patterson (Ashley Johnson) and her puzzle-expert boyfriend, David, (guest star Joe Dinicol) decode a tattoo clue that sends the team to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). While at the CDC, the team discovers a hidden message on Jane's body that uncovers a plot that could have catastrophic global consequences. Meanwhile, Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) grow closer. Also starring Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza and Ukweli Roach. Guest starring Michael Gaston, Natalie Thomas and Paul Fitzgerald.
Blindspot airs every Monday on NBC network.
