Bobbi Kristina Brown: Bobby Brown 'keeping his daughter alive' though her organs are shutting down

It has been reported that Bobbi Kristina Brown's organs are shutting down.

The daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically induced coma after being found face down and unresponsive in the bathtub of her Georgia home.

While her family are said to be coming to terms with the possibility that she may not regain brain function, according to TMZ her father Bobby Brown is not ready to give up on his daughter and is refusing to give consent for her to be taken off her life support machine.

The singer is reportedly holding on to his strong religious views and is determined to keep his daughter alive, even if the chances of her making a recovery are slim.

Family remembers said there was a glimmer of hope when Bobbi Kristina once opened her eyes and showed signs of brain function, but her condition has since deteriorated.

Meanwhile, the dispute between the 21-year-old's boyfriend Nick Gordon and her family has been the focus of ongoing speculation. Gordon, who found Bobbi Kristina in the bath of their family home, has claimed he has been banned from seeing her in hospital.

However, the family claim that he has made no attempt to visit his girlfriend in hospital.

According to TMZ, Gordon, 25 claims he has been barred from seeing Bobbi Kristina and has hired a lawyer.

It has been alleged that Gordon staged an appearance "for the cameras" outside the hospital after Bobbi Kristina was admitted, but never actually went inside.

Bobbi Kristina's relationship with Gordon has been contentious from the outset. The pair were in fact brought up as brother and sister when Gordon was adopted by Houston as a child. After the death of Whitney Houston, the two revealed they were in a relationship and later announced their engagement. The family have since denied that the couple were ever married and have been vocal in expressing their concerns about Gordon.

Bobbi Kristina's aunt, Marion "Pat" Houston, filed for a restraining order against him in March 2014, according to People. Gordon is said to have "made threatening comments and posted photos of guns with the intention of making (her) fearful for her personal safety," according to E! Online.

A neighbour of Bobbi Kristina Brown earlier reported a domestic dispute at her home, a week before she was found unconscious in a bath.

A security guard at the gated community at the townhouse in Roswell, Georgia, confirmed that a neighbour reported a fight on 23 January, and called police. The guard said the unnamed local resident reported people "hitting each other and swinging" outside the suburban home in Atlanta.

TMZ reported that it was told by multiple sources that police are looking into a "possible altercation" more than an hour before Ms Brown was found. She was found with bruises on her face and chest. Gordon claims she sustained the bruises while he was trying to resuscitate her.

While Bobbi Kristina's aunt Leolah Brown has alleged that 25-year-old Gordon had some part to play in her niece's current condition, he has insisted that he has done nothing wrong.

According to The Daily Mail, Gordon told a friend: "I didn't do anything to my baby. I just hope she wakes up and tells 'em what they all need to know.
