Bobbi Kristina Brown: Nick Gordon desperate to see girlfriend after 'irreversible brain damage' news
Following his stint in rehab Bobbi Kristina Brown's long-time boyfriend Nick Gordon is reportedly a "completely different person" and now desperate to see his partner, who remains unresponsive.
Whitney Houston's daughter has been in hospital since 31 January after she was found unconscious in a bathtub at her home in Roswell, Georgia. The incident happened before the third anniversary of her mother Whitney Houston's death, who died on 11 February 2012 in similar circumstances.
As she remained in a medically-induced coma at Georgia's Emory University Hospital, Gordon appeared on Dr Phil in a televised intervention and later checked into rehab.
"Rehab was a success for Nick. He did very well and cleaned himself up. Now, he just really wants to see Bobbi Kristina," a source close to Gordon told People magazine. "It's hard for him not to be able to see Krissy. He wants to see for himself how she is doing.
"He only has third-hand information and doesn't know any more than what the media has been reporting," the source said, adding that Gordon is currently staying with his mother, Michelle Gordon, in Orlando, Florida.
Gordon, who has been reportedly banned from visiting Bobbi Kristina as police investigate the events leading up to her hospitalisation, had previously lashed out at her father Bobby Brown, claiming that he had only seen his daughter in "four times in the last five years".
"Listen at the end of all this I took care of Whitney Houston and Kriss which was very hard on someone my age," he wrote in a Twitter rant.
He added: "Grow up. Your daughter is going to hate you when she wakes up."
But Bobbi Kristina's aunt, Leolah, slammed the 25-year-old stating that he had "manipulated" her niece.
In April, Brown stunned fans when he claimed that Bobbi Kristina was "awake", telling the crowd at concert in Texas: "I can say today: Bobbi is awake. She's watching me."
But in a statement released to People Magazine, Whitney Houston's mother Cissy shattered any hope of a full recovery by revealing that doctors said she had "irreversible brain damage".
"I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive."
