Bobbi Kristina Brown: Warring families reconcile in Whitney Houston daughter's final days

After months of feuding, the beleaguered family members of Bobbi Kristina Brown have put their differences aside following the 22 year old's move to hospice care.

TMZ reports that the Houstons and Browns recently came together as they kept a vigil for Whitney Houston's daughter, almost five months after she was found face down in a bathtub.

In footage captured by the entertainment site, Bobbi Kristina's aunt Pat Houston can be seen embracing Tina Brown outside the Peachtree Christian Hospice near Atlanta as the reality of her devastating condition sinks in. It is the first time the pair have been seen together since Bobbi Kristina was admitted.

Having spent two months at Georgia's Emory University Hospital and a further 10 weeks at the DeKalb Medical facility, the aspiring actress was moved to hospice care on 25 June.

The hospice is under an hour from Bobbi Kristina's condo in Roswell, Georgia, where she was found unconscious by boyfriend Nick Gordon. The incident occurred shortly before the third anniversary of her mother's death.

Confirming the move, Pat said: "Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now"

Earlier in June, Brown's sister Leolah launched a scathing attack against Pat Houston. In her Facebook message, she claimed that Pat wanted Bobbi Kristina dead so that she can inherit the late singer's estate, which is estimated to be worth $20m (£12.63m). She also said that, contrary to reports, Bobbi Kristina's condition is improving.

"If Pat knew the God that I know, instead of trying to inherit my niece's money for her personal gain, she would mind her own business and go find a job for herself without continuously working so hard to destroy my niece, beg her for money and get angry when she cannot get it! She would stop using the Houston name for her personal agenda," she wrote.

"Only my brother Bobby Brown and my brother Tommy Brown who is Bobbi Kristina's father and uncle, has gotten Bobbi Kristina the best care possible and that she is indeed continuing to improve in-spite of the lies being told."

Meanwhile, there is an ongoing criminal investigation into the circumstances leading to Bobbi Kristina being taken to hospital, after it was reported that bruises and marks were found on her body, while neighbours described an altercation at the house the night before the incident.

Prosecutors in Fulton County Georgia told TMZ that "in view of the new circumstances regarding the health status of Bobbi Kristina Brown, we will be reviewing the case with greater interest".

On June 24, a lawsuit was filed by Bobbi Kristina's conservator Bedelia Hargrove accusing her boyfriend Gordon, 25, of assaulting the reality star. The suit alleges that Gordon withdrew Bobbi Kristina's money without authorisation, dragged her upstairs by the hair, and knocked out her teeth in an altercation that occurred after she told him she wanted to end the relationship.
