Bobby Brown and Alicia Etheredge welcome third child together
'Just had a baby girl 10 pounds,' the New Edition singer wrote on Instagram.
Bobby Brown and his wife Alicia Etheredge have welcomed their third child together. The 47-year-old took to Instagram to announce the news and said "Just had a baby girl 10 pounds." However, the singer/songwriter did not mention when she was born nor did he give out the name of the newborn.
The couple already have two children – a 7-year-old son Cassius, and one-year-old daughter Bodhi Jameson Rein.
Fans of the R&B singer, who married Alicia Etheredge in June 2012, soon congratulated the proud parents on the photo-sharing site.
"Omg Congratulationsss!! Wow 10lbs definitely healthy Awwww Great job Alicia," a fan of the singer wrote. Another said: "Congratulations on your New Baby Girl. May your family always be showered with Many Blessings!"
The singer was previously married to late singer Whitney Houston for 14 years and ended their relationship in September 2006. The I Will Always Love You singer tragically passed away in February 2012.
According to Entertainment Tonight, during an interview with 20/20 in June, Brown revealed about his and Houston's drug and alcohol abuse when they were a couple.
"At such a young age for us both to have any and everything that we wanted was both a blessing and a curse," Brown told host Robin Roberts. "It was terrible. Both of us, you know, trying to be clean, or one of us trying to be clean and the other one don't wanna be clean. It's a big struggle."
The singer also said he has been able to do away with drugs, but alcohol remains a problem.
"I'm clean from narcotics, yes. I haven't done narcotics in 10 to 12 years. Alcohol has been a problem. I go back often to reboot, but s**t, that's life. Everybody drinks. Sometimes I drink," Brown said.
