Boris Johnson belts out Jessie J hit Bang Bang on Capital FM [VIDEO]

London mayor Boris Johnson has won over legions of new fans after belting out a sassy rendition of Jessie J's summer smash Bang Bang.

The quirky politician showed off his singing skills during a recent appearance on Capital FM when he dropped in to discuss London's upcoming New Year's Eve firework display with Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon.

Sporting his trademark dishevelled locks and glasses he sang the lyrics: "Bang bang into the room (I know you want it)

"Bang bang all over you (I'll let you have it), Wait a minute let me take you there (ah)

"Wait a minute 'til ya (ah), Bang bang there goes your heart (I know you want it)

"Back, back seat of my car (I'll let you have it), Wait a minute let me take you there (ah)

"Wait a minute 'til ya (ah)"

A clip of his impromptu performance released by the station went down a treat with fans.

"#BORISforprimeminister," one viewer said.

Jessie J will be happy to hear that her collaborative track with Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande has converted Johnson.

Back in August, the track helped the 26-year-old pop star score her third No 1 in the UK.
