Bose releases QC35 wireless headphones for $350 that claim to run for 20 hours on a single charge
Bose, known for making the best noise-cancelling headphones, has announced a new product under its QuietComfort 35 range called the QC 35 wireless headphones. The QC35 is based on the company's previous wired QuietComfort offerings, only this time it's completely wireless.
The headphones claim to possess the same noise cancellation that the company is famous for along with the experience of wireless connectivity through Bluetooth as well as NFC for quick pairing. The battery life of the device the company claims can last up to 20 hours when using both Bluetooth and noise cancellation, but can even go up to 40 hours when the complementary cable is used. The device is fitted with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery to give the enhanced power capacity.
Like all Bose products, these headphones also come at a premium price of $350 and are available in select regions like the US and some European countries for now. The headphones will be available in two colour variants - black and silver. The operation of the headset is pretty simple with buttons on the right ear cup for on/off, music volume, play/pause, and answer/end calls functionalities.
The company also announced three other products called the Bose QuietControl 30 in-ear noise-cancelling headphones, as well as the SoundSport Wireless and SoundSport Wireless Pulse. While the QuietControl 30 claims to control the level of noise cancellation, the SoundSport range is aimed at fitness enthusiasts containing sweat and water resistance, as well as a heart-rate monitor built into the earbuds.
