Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie dismiss divorce rumours with intimate anniversary celebrations
The couple have six children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne.
Hollywood heartthrobs Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie scotched divorce rumours as they celebrated their second wedding anniversary with an intimate date-night at the Beverly Hills Hotel. According to celebrity news sites, the couple enjoyed quality time with each other during the low-key celebration in Los Angeles last week.
"It was just the two of them. They had dinner and spent the night, and that was it," a source told Us Weekly, shedding light on the celebrity couple's private night-out. "They left the next day," the source added.
Pitt and Jolie, who fell in love on the sets of their 2004 movie Mr and Mrs Smith, enjoyed almost a decade of togetherness before the duo decided to tie the knot on 23 August 2014.
They exchanged vows in a private ceremony at their French estate. And now, as they rang in their second wedding anniversary, gossip website reports stated that they are "actually more in love than ever".
"Despite their busy schedules, Brad and Angie have recommitted themselves to each other and are actually more in love than ever," read another report. The website also asserted the two ensure that they take time out for their children.
"Family time is a huge priority for them, so they make sure to spend quality time with one another alone, and with the kids," said the source.
Considering the A-listers' hectic schedule and various film commitments, reports suggest that it is likely difficult for them to find lone time and such date-nights seem to be their way of keeping "the love alive". Apart from being a blissful pair, the couple are parents to six children – Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
"Their kids mean everything to them, and as they get older, they want to make sure that family comes first, and this includes them as a couple coming first as well," the report quoted a source as saying.
