Brad Pitt headed for a 'Blue Christmas'? He's worried about Angelina Jolie's holiday plans with kids

Brad Pitt is said to be missing his children dearly. Moreover, the Fight Club star is reportedly worried about having a "Blue Christmas" this year as his ex-wife Angelina Jolie could take their brood overseas during the holidays.

"The holidays are extra hard for Brad," a source told Hollywood Life. "He misses his kids more than ever. He does get to see them but it's not nearly as much as he would like and it's always up to Angelina when it happens."

The report from the celebrity gossip website also claimed that while the Oscar-winning producer's parents are "not seeing their grandchildren the way they would like to be", they would like to spend the upcoming festivities with their grandkids in Missouri. However, the Maleficent actress is "very unlikely to go for that" and she too does not want to be without her children during Christmas.

Although Jolie is reportedly not keen on celebrating Christmas with the Pitts in The Show-Me State, she reportedly invited her former husband to be with the children on Halloween.

A source previously told Hollywood Life that Jolie invited Pitt to go trick-or-treating with the children as she knows how much he loves being with them during Halloween.

"Brad has been through a lot this year and Angelina knows that he will forever be a part of the kids' lives, so why not invite him along?" the source told the celebrity gossip website. "Brad will be at the kids' graduations, weddings, or other major life events, so Angie figures they need to learn how to spend time together for the sake of the kids."

Pitt and Jolie split in September 2016 after being together for 12 years. The former couple share six children – Maddox (16), Pax (13), Zahara (12), Shiloh (11), and twins Vivienne and Knox (9).
