Brad Pitt not 'comfortable living alone' and moves out of estate he shared with Angelina Jolie
Jolie filed for a divorce from her partner of 12 years on 19 September citing irreconcilable differences.
Brad Pitt is reportedly leaning on close friends as his bitter divorce with Angelina Jolie unfolds. In the wake of the custody battle and other legal proceedings, the Fight Club actor has reportedly moved out his family home in Los Feliz as he is apparently unable to live alone in the huge mansion that he once shared with Jolie and the children.
The Salt actress left the couple's estate soon after she filed for divorce and reports suggest that she first moved to Malibu along with her six children and then to an estate in Hidden Hills, California.
HollywoodLife quoted a source as saying, "Brad is staying with a close, trusted friend in the Los Angeles area, rather than in [their] Los Feliz home."
"He doesn't feel comfortable living alone in the huge estate that he shared with Angie and the kids. At least not for now. It brings back too many memories and he isn't able to sleep or even concentrate. Brad just couldn't bear it," the gossip website's insider added.
Ever since, Jolie filed for a divorce from her partner of 12 years on 19 September citing "irreconcilable differences", Pitt has maintained a low-profile in the public.
According to reports, the Allied actor is in a "bad shape" and has been seeking solace from near and dear ones and is missing his children – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne.
"Brad wanted to be somewhere discrete. He is getting support and guidance from a select group of friends," the report stated.
Meanwhile, there have been numerous developments reported in Pitt and Jolie's much-publicised divorce, with the latest one being that the duo reached a temporary custody settlement. As per the terms of the agreement, the Fury actor has supervised visitation rights, but it is Jolie who will have the sole physical custody of the children as of now.
If rumours are to be believed, the constraint between the parents-of-six and the ensuing divorce drama seems to be taking a toll on the children. "The kids are devastated and confused about why their parents are suddenly apart. They are all nagging Angelina to get back together with their dad and have everything be back to normal," a report claimed earlier.
