Overview
A 2-1 victory over Venezuela despite Neymar's absence helped Brazil top Group C of the Copa America. It also helped them seal the place in the last eight of the tournament. After the 7-1 defeat to Germany in the World Cup semi final, followed by a 3-0 loss to the Netherlands for a third place finish, Brazil have won 12 of the 13 matches played so far.
Their defeat came against Colombia in the second group stage match against Colombia. The same fixture saw Neymar receive a red card after the match, which ultimately lead to his four match suspension.
On the other hand, Paraguay made it to the quarter final of this edition of the Copa America after finishing second in Group B after their 1-1 draw against Uruguay in the final group stage fixture.
A victory for either of the sides on Sunday will see them take on the winners between the third quarter final clash between Argentina and Colombia in the last four of the tournament.
