Brit Awards 2014: Where to Watch Live Online

The countdown for the Brit Awards 2014 has begun and the biggest music names in the UK will be seen at London's O2 Arena on 19 February.

The award ceremony which will be hosted by comedian James Corden for the fifth and final time, will be aired LIVE on ITV from 8pm.

• For the first time in the awards' history, viewers around the world will be able to watch the event live online on a dedicated YouTube channel.
• Live updates are available on the Brit Awards' Facebook page and through Twitter (follow these hashtags - #BRITs2014, #BRITAwards).
• Capital FM will also provide live commentary of the event.

Performers including Arctic Monkeys, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Bastille, Rudimental, Ellie Goulding, Lorde, Disclosure and Pharrell Williams will take to the stage on the evening.

This year, approximately ten million people are expected to watch the show on television. Previous year's coverage attracted more than 8.1 million viewers.

"I'd like the Brits to get to 10 million viewers, to continue where we left off [last year]," chairman Christian Tattersfield told the Guardian in November.

"Britain has always been a world leader when it comes to producing and championing great artists, so it's fitting that our biggest annual celebration of outstanding music will reach such a huge global audience," Tattersfield said in a statement.

"By adding the first ever social vote and [the] YouTube live stream we are taking the Brits to a whole new level, offering a dynamic, engaging and fully interactive experience for fans everywhere," he added.
