British woman falls to her death from tenth floor of Benidorm apartment block

A British woman has died after falling from a 10th-floor apartment while partying with friends in Benidorm.
The 27-year-old had been with a group of friends on the top floor of the Apartamentos Payma block in the area known as 'Little England' when she fell to her death.
It is not yet known whether the unnamed woman was on holiday or lived in the resort, or where in the UK she was from.
Detectives investigating the incident are questioning other guests at the party and are thought to be treating the death as a tragic accident.
According to Mail Online a police spokesman said: "All we can say at this stage is that a British woman born in 1989 has fallen from a tenth-floor flat in Benidorm and died as a result. The matter is under investigation. It appears she was with other people at the time."
Last November, 21-year-old Danielle Hall from Newcastle also died after falling from a ninth-floor Benidorm apartment.
With its fast-food outlets, bars and nightclubs, the area is popular with young British tourists looking for cheap package holiday.
